Love can be revealed in the most hidden of places.
“The Christmas Ring” is focused on a military widow, Vanessa and her search for a lost family heirloom. This heirloom is an important representation of their family. Vanessa Mayfield (Jana Kramer), while attempting to find her family ring, is led to an antique dealer named Ben Miller, (Benjamin Hollingsworth). They soon work together to find out this mystery. This will lead to a deep friendship that will bring, connection and romance. This time spent together will start to turn tables as they both realize they have undeniable feelings for each other. As they continue to grow together they realize very quickly Ben’s father Howard Miller (Kelsey Grammer), a seemingless endorsement of a character, owns a popular antique shop down the road.
When he makes a discovery about where the ring might be, this creates major consequences in the near future for everyone involved. This event will soon change his life while threatening Ben and Vanessa’s recent relationship right around the corner from Christmas.
In this movie, it has a wholesome storyline, character growth, and well thought-out problem solving. As Ben and Vanessa weave their way though these situations they start to grow together as one, showing viewers how love blossoms in its own ways. People start to notice their recent connections which just brings them even closer to each other.
I think this movie is one of the best I’ve seen yet. I was surprisingly engaged the entire time with its suspense and methods of foreshadowing. I recommend all viewers should watch this movie and give it a try because when doing so you get to experience the holiday spirit with a bit of drama. I believe this to be very enjoyable for anyone that likes a romantic theme.
